Assalamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
We are raising funds on behalf of Darul Ilm Birmingham through an incredible and demanding challenge — the UK 3 Peaks Challenge.
A dedicated group will be taking on the challenge of climbing the three highest mountains in the UK — Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon — within 24 hours, Insha’Allah. This test of endurance, resilience, and teamwork is being undertaken to raise much-needed funds for Darul Ilm Birmingham.
Darul Ilm Birmingham is a vital hub of Islamic learning and research, providing education, resources, and support to our community and beyond.
Darul Ilm Birmingham is a place where knowledge thrives, where students deepen their understanding of Islam, and where essential work is carried out to preserve and share our heritage — building strong connections within the community so everyone feels they have a place where they belong.
With your help, we can ensure Darul Ilm Birmingham continues to grow, inspire, and serve.
The funds raised through this challenge will go toward:
• Improving facilities to create a more welcoming and accessible space for students and visitors.
• Supporting scholarships and programs to empower more people with access to Islamic education and lifelong learning opportunities.
• Strengthening community outreach — supporting our youth, feeding the homeless, and empowering our SEN students.
• Expanding the library’s resources with essential Islamic texts, research materials, and modern educational tools.
This challenge will be a tough test of endurance and determination, but it is nothing compared to the importance of supporting such an invaluable institution. Every step taken will be driven by a belief in the transformative power of education and the blessings of supporting a cause rooted in the pursuit of knowledge.
Here’s How You Can Help:
Your support is crucial. Every donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in sustaining and advancing the work of Darul Ilm Birmingham.
Even sharing this message with your family and friends can help amplify this effort.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Bukhari)
Let us come together to uphold this beautiful tradition and ensure our community has the resources and opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
Jazak’Allahu Khairan for your generosity, encouragement, and duas.
Together, we can make this challenge a step toward lasting impact.
