Frenford’s 3 Peaks Challenge
Help us raise £3000 for two causes while we attempt the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24hours in late July
The trekkers: Irfan Shah, Yasin Patel, Martin Solder, Dave McEwen , Nilesh Vaghela, Mouhssin Ismail and Ashfaq Ahmed
When: July 26, 27, 28
Cause 1, Frenford Youth Club: Many young people have been stuck at home during Covid-19 with a lack of focus on health and fitness. We will provide free sessions of sports/activities for young people and re-engage them with other young people through supervised and socially distant sessions. This money will also support young people who will be unable to afford sports/activities due to families losing loved ones, parents losing jobs and those suffering from mental health issues.
Cause 2, Famine in Yemen: sticking with what Frenford is all about and following Jeremy Bowen’s devastating report on the starving and malnourished children of war torn Yemen. We all would like to send much needed food parcels and medical kits to help save lives.
*Please Note that all funds raised will go directly in to Frenford Youth Clubs bank account. Frenford Youth Club will make a donation of 50% of all funds raised in this campaign to UNICEF via a cheque who are working in YEMEN directly from Frenford Youth Clubs bank account. This will provide a transparency and should anyone wish to see the transaction and receipt by UNICEF, please ask.
