"3 Peaks, 3 Weekends"

Hi, my name is Abi Turner and I am 14 years old. In July 2024, I am taking part in a once in a lifetime four week expedition with Camps International to Costa Rica. I have committed myself to raising every single penny for my trip (£4,850) using my own hard work and fundraising skills.

To start me on my fundraising journey, I have decided to take on the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdonia across three weekends in April! I have never done anything like this before so it will be a huge challenge for me but I am determined to do it!

The Camp Costa Rica Project means so much to me because it will allow me to step outside of my comfort zone, embarking on a personal development journey. Every Project that Camp Costa Rica works on is driven by three key goals:

1. To enhance local communities way of life.

2. To protect the local environment.

3. To conserve local wildlife.

On my trip, I will be helping local communities taking part in on-going wildlife conservation programmes to preserve bio-diversity and protect vulnerable habitats as well as participating in many incredible activities.
