I’m writing because I really need support.

My husband was recently taken by ICE, and he is now in detention. I don’t know when he will be released or if he will be released at all. He was the only provider for our family, and now I’m alone with two small children. One of them is just a few months old, and I am breastfeeding.

We are a family from Ukraine. We came to the United States through the U4U program, hoping for safety and stability. Now everything has collapsed in a moment, and I don’t know how to move forward.

I can’t work, and I’m barely managing to pay for housing and the basic things my children need. Every day I hold on as much as I can, but I’m running out of strength. I’m scared for my children’s future.
