We are residents and landowners who share common concerns regarding the proposed expansion of an additional (in tandem) 230kv power line that is being planned for the Waasigan Transmission Line Project that will run directly through, over, in front of, and behind our homes and land.

There is a very large human impact that, to date, has not been disclosed by Hydro One and their partners in the Waasigan Transmission Line Project (see map below).

To date, we have identified more than 225 homes (+ countless landowners) that are within 400m of the proposed line. Some Neighbours are faced with the loss of their homes and/or acreage, while all face the potential for contaminated water tables & wells; destruction of the natural environment surrounding us; adverse effects on flora & fauna; potential health effects resulting from living in such close proximity to tandem high-voltage lines; and reduced property values, just to name a few.

Our mission is to gather, connect, share, understand, and support one another under these devastating circumstances and formulate a solid plan of action to combat Hydro One's blatant disregard for the human impact of this project.

For our families, for our neighbours, for this land.
