Hello everyone, my name is Sisira Chandrala, and I am a Life Scout from Troop 511. For my Eagle Scout project, I am creating a Therapeutic Garden at North Park Post Acute, a care facility for elderly residents, including those living with dementia.

The goal of this garden is to give residents a peaceful outdoor space where they can relax, engage their senses, and enjoy time outside. I will be designing the garden, organizing volunteers, and leading the construction of raised garden beds, seating areas, and sensory plants chosen to support memory care and gentle activity. I will also work with the staff to make sure the space is safe and accessible for everyone.
