Jake's Eagle Project
Donation protected
My name is Jacob Wankum. I am a Life Scout with Troop 394 in Jefferson City, Missouri. I am currently working on an Eagle Scout Project for the benefit of my former elementary school. Please take a moment to read about my project, maybe share it with your friends, and consider supporting me and my fellow scouts on this journey.
I have been in scouts since I was in first grade. I joined Pack 332 as a Tiger Cub and crossed over to Boy Scout Troop 394 as a 5th grader, and have since participated in and achieved most every activity and rank available to Scouts. All of that experience has led me to here, pursuing the Eagle Scout Rank, the pinnacle of Scouting achievement.
My Eagle Scout Project is designing and building an outdoor classroom for my former elementary school and current Church Parish. This classroom will include 4 picnic tables and a garden spot. This area will make it possible for teachers to take their classes outside to learn.
This project means a lot to me because it will benefit not only my elementary school but my Church Parish. I want the students at St. Francis Xavier to be able to experience their Science classes outside with real world experiences.
Doing this project requires a list of things:
4 Picnic Tables
Landscape Timbers
Metal Bars
Pea Gravel
Concrete
I would like to start this project in March 2017 and would hope to have it completed by early Summer 2017.
ANY and ALL contributions (online, cash, and checks) will go towards my Eagle Project.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
