Dalton and Kayla we’re blessed with a beautiful baby boy Archer Fry on 6/4/19 . What started out as one of the most exciting times of our families lives turned into a nightmare within just a few days. Archer was brought home from the hospital on a Friday believing to be a healthy baby boy and a call was received from the hospital the following Monday notifying us that Archer’s blood tested positive for a rare genetic disorder and he would need to be taken to Children’s Hospital right away. Since that call Archer has required many visits to specialists for treatment and tests.Currently there is no cure for his disorder and we are praying desperately for a cure. It is crucial for Archer to continue to see a team of specialists at both Vanderbilt in Nashville and at Children’s in Knoxville to help Archer live; he will require lifelong care. As you can imagine our family is at the beginning of one of the hardest journeys we have ever had to face. Archer is such a blessing, he is so beautiful and so sweet. I worry about Dalton and Kayla because the heartbreak they are experiencing is unimaginable, it is a dream we are not waking up from.
