PLAYSEUM helps leftbehindkids China

Donation protected

My name is Gina Seebachan and these are my four amazing children; Ashlen 14, Ianna 16, Nisha 19 and Andrew 11.     To many in the DC metro area who are under ten I am simply known as Ms. Gina because over nine years ago  my kids and I came up with the Be with Me Playseum concept, trademark and business and in 2009 it became a reality.  Over the years and each and every day we work here as a family for families.  We have seen thousands come through our doors each year. They play, make memories and experience quality time with thier parents or caregivers.

From the beginning our vision has been simple "kids create & parents relate". Our mission "come in and play & we help a child far away".  Over the past 6 years we have helped a village in Ethiopia, sent shoes to hundreds of children in El salvador, built a well in Angola and helped rescue and monthly care for over 70 children in Northern India.  THIS YEAR as a family we feel called to give more.

My three daughters, son and I will be flying over to Chengdu, China this May to donate our time and our expertise so that we can help build a facility much like the Playseum, but in China.  The building has already been given and allocated for such efforts to help the growing need of the "left behind children" of rural China.  A Foundation out of Hong Kong has contacted us, visited our Playseum and after much research, prayer and thought WE WANT TO HELP.

Did you know that there are more than 61 million children in China that have been left alone with either one granparent or no one to take care of them.  In the province we will be going to over 54 % of the kids under 17 are "left behinds".   It is such an national epidemic that it has made international news. In 2016, over 34% of those left with one or fewer adults were raped, molested or sold into trafficking.   This is a huge issue, and many say why try?  But my kids they say,  "why not try?"  Because we tried 6 years ago 70 kids in India are alive, healthy and going to school today.  As a family, we know that the door has opened for us to not just watch from afar but we are actually going to go to China and help with the creation of the first Children's Museum in rural China.   This will be a  place where grandparents and life coaches will be able to redeem these little ones memories and give them hope of a better tomorrow.   Hey maybe that's why I took Chinese so many years ago and taught English there.  Did I mention Nisha is learning Chinese at Unversity of MD.

Bottom line:
We need finances to cover our air tickets and our business while we are gone.  Once we get there our needs will be provided.  We have until April 30th to raise the money need.

Those of you who know me know that children are my life.  "Let the little children come...I always say."  I hope that you will join with our family in bringing life, laughter and hope to the children of rural China.

Nisha will continue on for 10 weeks after we leave. They have asked her to help with consulting, training coaches and using her marketing skills to bring about awareness to corporations throughout China.   We trust you will help in the endeavor to make a difference for these "leftbehind children" by helping the Seebachan family in whatever financial way you can.

Thank you so much. Whatever amount you can give we appreciate.  Believe me we know that if the Lord can take two little fish and a few loaves of bread and multiply it to feed thousands then he can sure take this little amount and in maybe just a year we will be able to report that it has begun to feed millions emotionally.

May God bless you many times back.
