Trip to India to Aid Leprosy
Donation protected
Family and friends,
As I near the end of my nursing education, my school offers their seniors a trip where they're able to apply all nursing skills learned throughout the program. In order to attend the trip, you need to submit an application, obtain professor recommendations, interview, and, of course, be accepted. Only about 20-25 students get accepted throughout all the 21 Chamberlain campuses across the country. Fortunately, I'm one of the 20-25 students who has been accepted to go on the trip to India!
Here, we will be be working in a developing country to provide health promotion and disease prevention to community residents suffering from leprosy, malnutrition, respiratory infections and many others. We'll be able to apply our knowledge and clinical skills that we've grown comfortable with throughout our years in nursing school.
The cost of the India International Nursing Experience is approximately $3200/student. The first payment of the trip is $1650 and is due on or before September 7th to solidify your spot for the trip. I am not looking for huge donations or anyone to pay for this trip for me. I have paid for my own schooling by taking out massive amounts of student loans and have really hit my limit on approvals.
I'd like to say thank you in advance to all of you. All that you do for us, for my family, never goes unnoticed. Love you guys (:
