Please Help Us Rebuild!

Will you please help us rebuild? We are the Rotary Club of Turlock and we could use your help. On September 14, 2022 a raging fire destroyed one of the buildings at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds. More than 17 firefighters and 4 fire engines were dispatched to help bring the fire under control but not before the building experienced extensive damage. This building had served as the home for the Rotary Club of Turlock and its 91 members for the past several years as well as many other community events hosted at the Fairgrounds. The roof, walls, main meeting area, storage area, many furnishings as well as equipment and electronics, all sustained significant losses. Our club is seeking to raise funds to help in the rebuilding effort.

While insurance proceeds will cover a portion of the loss, it will not cover all that is needed to restore the building to what it was. Our Club wants to help rebuild this structure, not just so that we may have our "home" back, but also so that other organizations in our community may, once again, enjoy its use.

Funds raised will be used to help bridge the gap between the cost to rebuild the building and the insurance coverage. All of the net proceeds from this GoFundMe will go directly to that effort and donations are tax deductible through our Club, a 501(c)(4) organization with tax ID #23-7055494.
