Hi my name is Isabella and my husband is called Thanasako and is originally from Greece and our 4 month old son is called Apollo. I am 29 years old and born in North London. I am a freelance florist and I was blessed to have an opportunity to work for a hotel abroad where I met my husband Thanasako last year. After a few months of dating I fell pregnant and we decided to move back to London so I could give birth to my son where I was born in the Whittington Hospital and be around my mum and family for support.

I had a very complicated and traumatic labour with Apollo being delivered using forceps and not breathing, resulting in us having to stay in the hospital for several days after.

My husband has entered on a visitors visa however that is expiring at the end of next month. This means that we will have to split and he will have to return to Greece and I would have to stay in the UK with Apollo, where I have access to my support system/ doctors for Apollo, leaving Apollo without a father which I find difficult to digest as we have spent every night together since we met.

We have looked into applying for the spouse visa however I do not meet the recent financial requirements in my previous year of earnings, therefore we have been advised by a solicitor to apply for a visa called the EX1 which is a human rights based visa. However, I am currently on maternity leave and my partner is not allowed to work while we apply for this visa or leave the country to work making funding the visa and the fee of the solicitor challenging.

We are currently looking for help to cover the cost of the visa and the solicitors fee in helping us with the application.

The costs are £3921 for the visa and £1600 for the solicitors fee total £5521.

Any contributions would be very helpful and I would be eternally grateful in helping our situation.
