Here at Ruby Tuesdays in Mentor, OH we have a cook who walks 5 hours to work. He recently worked at the store in Beachwood, OH until they closed their doors. Then he took a transfer here. He chooses to keep this job and make the walk to work because he can't find an area around him that pays more than minimum wage. He says he simply can't live and pay his bills off of that. So he gets up early mornings and makes the walk from Euclid to Mentor(about a 5hr walk). He will acasionally be lucky enough to catch a bus, or a ride from the staff here at Rubys when available. But for the most part he makes the walk no matter the weather conditions. With winter around the corner this is going to become very hard on him. He is saving for a car and his Licence. He is working towards that goal. Maybe with a little help from the community we could help him get there faster. So the Ruby Tuesday of Mentor family is setting up this account in hopes to give him a little something to help!
