10 days ago my brother Mike’s wife Shannon had a brain aneurysm rupture and rushed to the hospital. It’s been 10 days and she has had 3 surgeries. Mike has been part of the Bittner family since we have been kids, and was a groomsman in our wedding. Mike was always over our house as kids and my parents treated him like their own son. Mike and Shannon are very special people, in which Mike is a police officer and does anything he can to make his community and city a safer place to reside. Shannon is one of the best softball coaches on the west coast and does everything for her daughter and players. Mike has been off of work since the illness of his wife, and Shannon does not have time at work to be compenstaed for her time off. Their daughter Mikela does not know the severity of her mother’s condition.
