The Brian Wuerdeman Foundation
Donation protected
After courageously fighting for the better part of the past decade, Brian Wuerdeman lost his battle to addiction on September 18th.
Despite his struggles, Brian was so loved by his parents, siblings and friends, which he made everywhere he went. He was spirited, warm, gentle and funny, and he will be eternally missed.
Addiction is not very well understood today, and we believe the cure to Brian's disease does not exist in today's world. Sadly, drug addiction has morphed into an epidemic among today's youth, and many of us are losing sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, neighbors and friends.
The Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study is doing the hard and critical work of deepening our insight into how the brain develops as children grow into adults.
Please help us support this important research and consider donating to the ABCD Study.
Brian's mother is working with a neuroscientist involved in the study to organize our funds. By supporting this GoFundMe page, you help us bolster our gift to this organization.
