Help Build the Connaught Playground

École Connaught Community School needs your help.  In 2014, our 105 year old school was deemed unsafe and was torn down.  Fortunately, a new school is being rebuilt and is set to reopen September 2017! Sadly, several of our playground structures are not reuseable since they were also deemed unsafe, or disintegrated during demolition.  Our school community is desperately attempting to rebuild and enhance the outdoor play environment at our school with a goal of $66,000 before September 2017. We will do this by installing some reusable structures we have in storage, and purchasing new additional/replacement equipment, which we will buy with support from you.

We will purchase four structures ($10,000 each + groundcover/redesign/installation = $66,000) including a swingset with an accessible swing, a disc swing, a teeter-tunnel (pictured above), and a "spinami".  We need to purchase these items by Spring 2017 so the sooner you support us, the better!

There are endless health and social benefits from play structures and outdoor play, while also enabling fun and fitness too. This playground will also be the only accessible recreation area in our community and will benefit hundreds of children’s and families health and wellness in Regina for many years to come.

Please consider giving to our great cause ASAP!  Your support is a tremendous help in helping us reach our goal and will get us closer to a beautiful playground in Cathedral.  Thank you so much!
