My husband and I are desperately trying to get visitations rights to see our 2 year old granddaughter Kiara. Her mother and father are in the middle of fighting over custody and have denied us the chance to visit and her to visit us. After many times of contacting the father who she is living with. He has now stopped taking our calls and answering our text. We are grandparents of a total of 6 grandchildren who we love very much. We try to make it to every birthday party, special occasion (even if the occasion is a slumber party with grandma, baking goodies and a movie) and spend time with them on the holidays. Our granddaughter Kiara, we have seen twice now in a years time. After many attempts to connect with her father we have missed every birthday and holiday and we miss her greatly. The pictures we have collected are ones that were made public on Facebook or that her mother has shared with us. We have come to the decision to hire a lawyer to seek out scheduled visitations with Kiara. However, lawyers can be quite costly. Our goal is $5,000 dollars which will go to cover lawyer cost and missed time at work while we try to reunite with her. The total cost will be a little over $8,500 dollar. Our hope is that you will be able to help us reunite with our sweet granddaughter. Help us provide some stability that she needs while her parents try to sort things our.
