Hello everyone,

My name is Samantha Hanson, and I grew up in a small, close-knit community of St.Elizabeth called Mocho district that has always looked out for one another. Sadly, our town was hit hard by Hurricane Melissa, a category five hurricane, and it has left members of my community in St. Elizabeth & Westmoreland homeless, vulnerable, and traumatized. My mom, grandma, and other relatives have significant property damages to their homes. The places that once held laughter, warmth, and memories are now destroyed.

They are currently without safe shelter, and rebuilding feels overwhelming. These are strong, loving women who have always been there for others and myself, and now they need a helping hand to start over.

I’m asking for any support you can give to help rebuild their homes and restore a sense of safety and comfort to their lives. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer, every bit truly helps and means more than words can express.
