I will be travelling in Israel and Palestine from November 6th-18th of this year as a trained delegate with The Compassionate Listening Project (TCLP). This is a non-profit organization, dedicated to fostering dialogue, healing polarization, rehumanizing, and building bridges between people, communities and nations in conflict.
This Project provides a context for deep listening to people on all sides. We will meet with Israeli Jews and Palestinians representing many different viewpoints, including political and spiritual leaders, people working for reconciliation, educators, refugees, regular citizens, and yes, extremists on both sides.
I have spent over 25 years as a psychotherapist, as well as educator, spiritual musician, cantor, yoga and meditation teacher, listening and sharing from the heart
with individuals, couples and groups. I now feel called to expand and share, as well as to grow, as a part of the larger vision and action for " a world that works for everyone"(Science of Mind).
Having lived for two years in Israel and birthed our son Gavriel there, I am also personally moved to serve in this profound trust-building process, bringing the skill of listening with an open heart to the suffering of those on all sides of the conflict. As a mother, I am compelled to take action for all our children and their children.
All monies raised will specifically support all expenses involved in this trip. Any funds raised beyond the expenses incurred for TCLP trip will be donated to TCLP to further their amazing work.
To donate you may go to: www.gofundme.com/2r3spq4
You may visit their beautiful wbsite at- www. compassionatelistening.org.
Time is of the essence.
Any support you may share is welcomed with heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.
In Peace,
Neshama Friend
