My name is Claire and as some of you may have heard, on Sunday night while I was waiting to pick up my sister from Tecoma station, I was approached by a very intoxicated male who carjacked me. Thankfully he has been arrested but sadly he wrote off my Vehicle after crashing it in Ferntree Gully.

I was on my way to start studying and I had finally gotten my life to a stable place. My car was a giant part of my life and a huge help to my mental health. I have lost all motivation, am sleeping terribly and feel absolutely miserable.

I will only receive 2000 for my Mitsubishi and looking around, most reliable second hand cars are around 5000-8000. I only receive 300 a fortnight on Centrelink and the financial strain this has on my family and I right now is heartbreaking.

If anyone would be willing to put even $1 towards being able to afford a second hand vehicle, I would be eternally grateful.

Everything is feeling impossible at the moment and for something to seem possible again would be a blessing.
