Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
With heavy hearts we share the passing of Aliyah, whose return to Allah came far too soon; she was a beloved daughter, a devoted and caring older sister and a cherished friend. While the pain of her loss is immense, we trust in Allah’s decree and find comfort in knowing that to Him we belong and to Him we shall return. While we believe that every soul's time is written and that Allah is the best of planners, the pain of losing her so suddenly is something words cannot fully describe.
Aliyah was a soul full of kindness, gentleness, and sincerity. She carried a warmth that touched everyone around her, always offering a helping hand, a listening ear. Her character reflected beauty both inside and out, and she was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her presence was a blessing, and her absence is deeply felt.
As Muslims, we believe that when someone passes away, their deeds come to an end except for a few things, one of them being Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity). In honour of Aliyah, we are raising funds to build a small mosque so that she may continue to receive rewards even after her passing; every prayer performed, every verse of the Qur'an recited, and every act of worship that takes place will become a source of continuous reward for her in her grave, Insha'Allah.
We kindly ask for your support – whether through donation, sharing this page, or making dua for Aliyah.
We pray that Allah grants Aliyah the highest ranks in Jannah, forgives her shortcomings, expands her grave and fills it with light and peace. Ameen. May her memory continue to inspire us to live with the same kindness and sincerity that she showed every day.
“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”
Please keep Aliyah and her family in your du’as.
