Terry and Andi Prichard's Transplant Expenses

Hi! My name is Lisa Karle and my husband is Sam Karle. We are working to raise money to help Sam’s sister, Terry Prichard, and our niece Andi Prichard, with their upcoming medical expenses. Sam and Terry’s mother passed when they were very young from a failed liver due to a medical condition. And now Terry’s organ is failing in a similar situation passed down from her birth mother.

We are thankful that over the last 50 yrs, medical breakthroughs and transplants have significantly progressed, giving opportunities for many people to live years beyond their conditions. Terry is one of these lucky recipients of modern medicine as she has been accepted into the transplant program in Louisiana, rated as #2 in the nation, where she will receive a new liver.

I'm excited to say that she's on the list! Her doctors anticipate that with this transplant, she will be able to live a full life. A great prognosis! Terry is required to be within 30 minutes of the hospital, so she and her husband have temporarily relocated.

Our niece, Andi, has offered to make a great sacrifice for her mother and was tested as a perfect match for Terry. Andi and Terry will be going through a “Living Donor” donation process on Dec 13, 2022, where each will have their own surgical and care team to ensure that their surgeries are successful. There will be several months of aftercare for Andi and ongoing years for Terry.

If you have met these two in person, you can never deny they are Mother and Daughter. They not only look alike, but both are quite the characters with high energy levels, silliness, seriousness, and fun to be around. But overall, they both show very high empathy towards others and always reach out to help.
