Hi everyone! :)
My name is Katie and I am a Pre-Med student at Bradley University. This coming January I will be traveling to Central America with an organization called Global Medical Training with a group of other Pre-Med and Medical students from Bradley University. In the past GMT has gone on trips to places like Nicaragua and Dominican Republic to help out communities who are in need of medical attention. While on this trip I will be given the chance to help out those who do not have the resources or money to get the medicine they need, and to learn a lot of useful skills to continue on in my education to Medical school in the future.  A majority of the money that I will be raising for this trip will go towards medicine and supplies needed to help the community that we will be traveling to. The remainder of the money will be going towards the safety and transportation of the students going on the trip. I am not asking for large amounts of money, but just whatever you can do to help support me in this experience to help out those who cannot help themselves. I really appreciate anyone and everyone who can help me achieve my goal in paying it forward to those who need it the most.
