This fundraiser is to benefit the Tupper Lake Police Department's new K-9 Program. This program was started in cooperation with the Tupper Lake Village Board and through the generous time and donation of our new K9, "JD" from Bridgette & Wayne LaPierre.

Our program has cost nothing to this point to the taxpayers of our community.  Along with the startup comes new equipment necessary for not only the K9 but the officer, (Officer Jordan Nason), as well.

"JD" will be trained in narcotics detection as well as tracking. He will be used as another tool to help combat the ever growing narcotics problem in our community. He will be seen around at many local events as well as having  a very prominent presence at our local schools, parks and playgrounds.

The proceeds from this benefit will be used to purchase the new equipment needed for both "JD" and Officer Nason, equipment for the patrol vehicle and towards the initial and revolving training both "JD" and Officer Nason must complete.
