My name is Jacob Wright. I am currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 174, a troop from Yorktown Heights, NY. As part of this journey, I am leading a service project aimed at making an impact on my community. For my Eagle Scout project, I am building and installing 3 free-standing lending libraries at 3 different schools in the Lakeland Central School District. These small outdoor libraries will provide students and families with free access to books, encouraging a love of reading throughout the district. To make this project a success, I am seeking donations to help gather materials such as wood, hardware, weatherproof paint, concrete, and roofing materials.
