A 3k run to raise £3k funds

Hi everyone - We have had to rescheduled the sponsored run. This was down to Kairo’s schedule being changed last minute. The run will be completed ASAP and an update will follow shortly with the new details.

Hi everyone - Firstly a massive thank you to everyone who has been so generous ! The twins fund raising has got off to an incredible start. In under a week they are about to pass their original target of £2000. 

With their run scheduled in 4 weeks time, they have decided to increase their target and the distance they will run. 

So the new target is £3000 to raise upon completely a 3k run !

“Hi everyone, it’s Kairo and Kya. We both play for our school team, Wandsworth District and the Chelsea Academy. We are here to try and raise £2000 for our borough so the people in Wandsworth can take their children out to football and to get them new football gear and to have a better life. Both me and my brother are going to make a difference in our Wandsworth Borough. So this is why we are fundraising.“

Further on from what our twins have written above, we know firsthand how difficult it can be juggling extra curricular activities in the midst of a financial squeeze on the pockets. We don’t believe this should have an impact on children’s passion for the game.

Most of us are too proud to ask for help at times, no matter how small or big. This is a perfect way to combine a passion with a good cause.

Footballing twins, Kairo & Kya are running 2 kilometres to raise funds to support the Wandsworth Primary Schools’ FA and the running of the under 11 boys and girls district football teams. 

The funds raised will widely help to support school football across the borough. 

Wandsworth Primary Schools’ FA provides the opportunity for children to represent their borough in local, regional and national competitions through their under 11 boys & girls district teams. WPSFA are affiliated to the English Schools Football Association. WPSFA does not receive any funding from the local council and survives solely on grants, donations and volunteers, so any money raised will help them to continue to provide opportunities for children across Wandsworth.
