Dear Friends,
Health 360 started10 years ago as a humble little gym that wanted to just get its community healthier through a friendly, all-encompassing holistic approach to health and wellness. In our non-intimidating, and all-welcoming atmosphere we educate our clients with the most current research, gently hold them accountable through hard work and support, and we achieve the agreed-upon results TOGETHER! This is possible only by hiring the kindest, best, and brightest staff we can find! We feel we owe it to the health and fitness community as well as the community at large to never settle for anything less than that.
In an unregulated fitness industry Health 360 takes it upon itself to ensure the public gets a qualified fitness professional to help them on their journey to wellness. Our fitness professionals are required to have a degree and certification from one of the top certifying bodies in the strength and conditioning community. With backgrounds in education, exercise science, athletic training, and nursing Health 360 knows a business is only as good as its people. Well, now those people need you!
Despite being shut down for two months we have been able to use our savings, lines of credit, and charitable donations from our wonderful members to keep paying our staff. We know this makes us luckier than most businesses and for that, we are eternally grateful. As small business owners for 10 years in a highly competitive industry, we know how volatile times like these can be for the healthiest of businesses. However, since being forced to shut down we have lost over $51,000.00 and counting and can simply no longer secure what is needed without risking losing everything. Since our priorities have always been the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff and community we want to take every precaution possible to make sure their health and fitness aren't another victim of this pandemic.
What we are asking for is the support to purchase two AirPHX (pronounced air-fix, see photos below)air filtration systems which are proving to be quite the ally in the defense against bacteria and viruses such as COVID-19! The two units will cover the entire 12,000 square feet we have in our facility. That price is $11,990.00 USD. With these in place before re-opening, we believe it can immediately go to work cleaning the air and surfaces in a way no conventional cleaning method alone can ever manage. This should provide the increased confidence and safety our community needs to begin chasing down their health and wellness goals once again!
We want you to know that these two AirPHX units won't be working alone! Here is just a short list of things we have done to ensure the health and safety of our staff and members when they return.
-Purchased hand washing stations to be placed at the entrance for members to "scrub-in" before using the facility.
-Purchased exam level gloves, and masks for our members and staff to wear when using the facility.
-Removed our completely functional air hand dryers and replaced them with more sanitary paper towel dispensers.
-Upgraded our already clean gyms cleaning protocols (seriously, ask our members! We take pride in our cleanliness!)
-Re-arranged equipment to accommodate for proper social distancing
to be easily practiced
So if you want to give to a good cause, are passionate about the health and wellness of others, and believe in the power of a healthy community what greater cause can you think of than helping supply a safe place for people to get healthy and strong? While we know there are no guarantees in this fight, we want to tip the odds in our community's favor as much as possible. Our health and wellness as a community is quite possibly our best defense against this horrible disease.
