Our House-Our Way

Ben, Scott and Jeremy  have defied the odds and in spite of their disabilities, have been able to live semi-independently in a "smart" house customized to their needs.  Although they pay their own rent and utilities each month, they are unable to financially manage the costs of maintaining the exterior of the home.  The HVAC, electrical and plumbing inside have been updated through family contributions.  As you can see, the driveway now poses a hazard to their safety and is an eyesore.  When covered with snow, it is impossible to see the potholes and divets, making it dangerous to walk on. With your donations, a concrete driveway will help these men walk safely this winter and will keep them from being cited by the city, incurring financial penalities they cannot pay.  Watch the video to see how proud they are to live semi-independently.
