Unlocking DOORS Justice for All Society Campaign

More than 70% of the crimes committed are done so by those who are already a part of the criminal justice system.

Local governments are faced with escalating costs for maintaining public safety and a host of other serious problems such as homelessness, drug
addiction, mental health, disability, veteran issues, chronic illness and emergency medical care. Texas is the largest criminal justice system in the
United States, with 85,000+ individuals returning from prison/state/county jails to our Texas communities annually. Historically, the community-
based offender programs throughout the State are limited to those offenders on probation or parole supervision.

And despite the existence of some well-established programs to help meet certain reintegration needs, these programs have not coordinated their
services to avoid unnecessary duplication of efforts; nor have the individuals themselves had one place to go to help access these services as part of a comprehensive reentry plan. It was to meet this need, first in Dallas County, but now statewide, that Unlocking DOORS® was formed.

Founded in 2010, Unlocking DOORS'® nationally-unique model spearheads a paradigm shift in the delivery of reentry services by fostering a
"community-based" cooperative/collaborative effort to address this historically complex problem. This model embraces a systematic approach to a
compendium of ideas, practices and programs that improve response time. Unlocking DOORS® seeks to create and promote a safer more productive society by revolutionizing reentry service delivery to former offenders through individual and community empowerment, education and

Over the past 10 years, Unlocking DOORS® has created a seamless pathway for nearly 5,000 former offenders to find a future of self-sufficiency
that is crime free with only a mere 11% recidivating (as compared to the state rate of 22-24%).

To celebrate our first 10 years, Unlocking DOORS® has established a campaign called the Justice for All Society. The focus is to create our reserve
fund to assure long range growth and stability for the organization.

You can help us celebrate 10 years of success by donating to the Justice For All Society Campaign today to help secure Unlocking DOORS® next
years of keeping communities safer by helping former offenders find their way to a life of meaning and hope.

All donations made go directly to UNLOCKING DOORS® AND ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
