This is My husband Justin, a Tampa Police Officer , with the Singleton family. Mr. and Mrs. Singleton are grandparents with full custody over their grandchildren- Kieth and Dionte.They were kicked out of their home . Justin found them homeless,sleeping in a park. He put them up in a hotel room for a few nights while he called Metropolitan Ministries to help them into housing. Once the family recieved word of acceptance from Metropolitan ministries he personally transported them and helped them move in. My husband has been going back and Mentoring the two young boys in an effort to keep them from hanging out in high crime and active gang areas. Little 7 year old Keith aspires to be a policeman one day and the 12 year old Dionte wants to go to college and play football. We are seeking funds to try to help the grandfather John and his grandsons start their own lawn business to get them back on their feet, into permanent housing, continue to teach the kids work ethic and the value of it , as well as get the kids into a busy productive environment, away from troubled areas and any gang activity. We have helped the family begin their business thru a print order of Door hanging flyers as well as business cards. However, we need help gathering funds to purchase the equipment needed to kick start their lawn business. Your kind, and selfless donation will go towards the purchase of a bicycle, bicycle cargo trailer , lawn mower , edger/weed eater, hedge clippers, rakes, gas cans, as well as gas cards to assist in the staibility of their growing company.
