Help us reunite with our kids

Dear family and friends, 

As you already know, we lost our home to a fire last Friday, September 9 that started in our neighbours yard. 

Since then, we have been trying to make sense of all of this. We wake up every night at 3am trying to make a plan of what needs to be done as quickly as possible to help make our lives feel a little more normal again. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster and we are already drained. 

Luckily, nobody got hurt and Bryan is our hero for saving our kitten Quinn and for calling 911. 

But, the daily stress of not knowing where you’re going to stay the night or if you have enough clothes for the next day are some of the many questions that we have been dealing with since Friday - to say the least! 

Our short-term main goal is to find a temporary home that will accommodate all 6 of us for the next few months. 

A lot of our plans have been put on hold, such as our wedding next year and our trip to California that was canceled at the last minute due to the fire. 

We found a place but it’s not furnished - it is the ideal place because it looks exactly like our home that we just lost. All of the kids would have their own rooms and beds, just like home. 

We want to see our kids again and get them back this weekend (if this is even possible). We want them to feel safe. We are very desperate to reunite with them and ensure that they have a space of their own and a place where we can all reunite as a family after this tragic event. 

We may have lost money for our trip to California, and lost our home but the one thing that this tragedy hasn’t taken away is our family and love for one another. 

So what exactly are we asking for? 

Our goal is to be moved in by Sunday. We are hoping for a miracle to reunite with our kids this weekend.
