End of Summer Giving
ICA Food Shelf works every day to strengthen our community. ICA’s services, including food, homelessness prevention, and employment assistance, have a tremendous impact on our neighbors in the western suburbs of Minneapolis.
Times have been tough for our neighbors, more than we often know. Though our area has a reputation of affluence, we still have many neighbors in need-ICA serves more than 820 families a month. Many in our community have lost their jobs, are underemployed, or have health crises that affect their ability to feed their family. And during the summer months, when kids are home from school without access to free and reduced price lunch, already tight budgets are stretched even further.
This summer, the needs in our communities are outweighing ICA’s resources, and we need to step in to fill the gap. Please join me and donate today—your donation will feed hungry kids and make a huge impact on the lives of our neighbors. ICA welcomes donations from individuals and from businesses—contact ICA to discuss options.
If you have any questions or want to discuss creative funding ideas, please contact Kate Wilinski at ICA at [phone redacted] or [email redacted].
