South Leicestershire Community Centre - S.L.I.C

Firstly thank you for looking at this fundraising page. SLIC is a community-based grassroots project that will be supporting the community across South Leicestershire by providing a community hub in the heart of the Wigston area. This building will serve multiple community-based services, including:

Youth clubs

Ladies-only health and wellbeing classes

Elderly drop-in groups

Benefit advise

Mother and toddler groups

Health and wellness Services

Neighbourhood watch

Food Bank support

Hot food takeaway service one day a week

Coffee mornings

5 Daily Prayer facilities for Muslims (Men and Women)

Multi-faith room available

Multi-faith meetings

We need to raise initially £200 000 to secure the property; this is required by the end of November 2022. The balance of £600 000 is needed by the end of February 2023.
