Supporting family of late Br.Farooq-e-Azam

Br. Muhammad Farooq-e-Azam, dedicated and passionate volunteer of our community, passed away on November 28th, leaving behind his 15 year old daughter and wife.

He was devoted to helping masajids in Edmonton and Fort St. John. He was a familiar face to everyone who attended iftaar at MAC Islamic Centre every Ramadan

Br. Farooq was not only a dedicated volunteer, but was also a well-respected community figure, a symbol of unity, extremely helpful, problem solver for many and a go-to person for everyone. This is a big loss for not just his family, but for the community as well.

This tragedy has created an enormous amount of stress for the family, both emotionally and financially. Since Br.Farooq was the primary breadwinner of the family, the immediate financial needs such as living expenses and the home mortgage have become a massive burden on his family.

Let’s come together to provide financial and emotional support, offering them light amidst the darkness of grief.

Br. Muhammad Farooq we knew each other and been together in Canada for over 10 years. I am doing this fundraiser along with his Brother Muhammad Fawad Siddique and the Muslims community of Edmonton (Mac- Rahma Mosque Volunteers) to help his family with their financial needs. The beneficiary of this fund is solely Br.Farooq’s family, who has given me the authority to organize this fundraiser on their behalf.
