Peace be upon you, my dear brother/sister. My name is Huda Mohamed Mahmoud Abu Ghabn, and I am a mother of two beautiful daughters, living in Gaza City, Sheikh Radwan. My husband is sick and has been injured, making life even more challenging for us.
Two years ago, during a period of intense war and violence, we were forced to leave our home and flee south due to relentless occupation and Zionist shelling. We escaped with nothing but the clothes on our backs. For over a year and four months, my family and I struggled to survive, moving from place to place, enduring the horrors of war, high living costs, and constant fear for our lives.
After enduring this long period of hardship, we returned to our home, hoping for peace and stability. Alhamdulillah, we were able to live under God’s mercy, despite the lingering dangers and the skyrocketing prices. But our hope was short-lived. Eight months later, the occupation returned with more bombings and destruction, and recently, our house was completely destroyed.
Once again, we were forced to flee—from the north to the south—under the threat of violence. Today, my family and I have no shelter, no tent, and no place to call home. The scorching heat adds to our suffering, and with winter approaching, the risk of cold, illness, and further hardship is unimaginable.
I am a simple citizen with nothing left to give. All I want is to save my family, to protect my daughters and my sick husband from the harsh realities of war, displacement, and exposure to the elements. I am reaching out for help, for any assistance that can provide shelter, warmth, and hope.
No donation is too small. Even if the total collected reaches only $5,000, it would change our lives completely. Your help could mean a safe place to sleep, food to eat, and a chance for my family to survive another day with dignity.
