First and foremost, we appreciate you taking the time to read our story. Our names are Matthew and Daniela Downs. We humbly started this gofundme account to help support us growing our family by adopting a baby. As a couple, we never had a doubt that we have always wanted to grow our family and become parents. However, God had a different plan for how we envisioned growing our family. After 2 miscarriages and trying to get pregnant for 4 years, we received a heart breaking diagnosis of unexplained infertility. Even though we will always grieve the loss of our 2 angel babies that will never be replaced, I truly feel God is asking us to serve Him in the area of our most deepest pain, and provide a home to a baby who truly needs it. In the words of one of our favorite authors Jordan Lee Dooley, "Every life is a miracle but there’s something unique and special and gospel-centered about the miracle of adoption and we are humbled and honored that God would invite us into parenthood in this most redemptive and beautiful way.
