Crankin’ 4 Crank

Jeff Toman, known to some as “Crank” has been a pillar of the Lemont Park District. For 13 years he has gone above and beyond for anyone who has crossed his path. Specifically in my life, he has made a tremendous impact, in my career and helped mold the person I am today. 

Unfortunately, Crank is now facing one of the hardest hurdles life can throw at you. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer - Small Cell Carcinoma.

For the last six months I have been training on my Unicycle to embark on a journey to support Crank in this life obstacle. Our journey will take us across the entire state of Illinois, from the Mississippi River to Lake Michigan. This 4 day, 150 mile journey will give Crank’s friends and family the opportunity to support him by donating to his cause.  

Now this is how you can help. We will be leaving Savanna, IL on Thursday July 29th, traveling through Rochelle, Saint Charles, and ending at Belmont Harbor on Sunday August 1st. You are welcome to join us along the journey and to cheer us along the ride. Any donation is greatly appreciated and sharing this page will help grow the impact we are able to make. 

We will post updates and pictures during the trip. We will also leave the GoFundMe page open for another month after the trip to give people enough time to donate, whoever can.
