Wellesley Firefit Combat Team

The Wellesley Firefit Combat Team has made it to the 2016 Nationals that are being held in Calgary in September 13th to 17th. The team is hoping to get support from their friends, families, and community to be able to attend the nationals to not only better themselves, but to help make them be more fit and prepared for real fires. It has been a long journey of training on the side of regular fire practices and duties that come with being a volunteer firefighter. The team has been able to bring all three stations: Linwood, St. Clements, and Wellesley to come together to become more prepared for what they may have to face in the future. The team would like to thank their sponsors that have helped them so far to get to the point of making the nationals. The support from the community is greatly appreciated and we look forward to trying even harder to help our Township look good and strong in Calgary!
