Pets Alive - Smoke Detector Campaign

Hi everyone, I am fortunate enough to be a Board Member for Pets Alive in Middletown, New York. We have a large property with old buildings in need of updates and upgrades to look after 100 dogs, 150+ cats, 5 horses, 3 pigs and one goat! I am looking to replace old damaged smoke detectors and add more to our property. We are not able to afford a networked fire detection system that would signal 911 in an emergency but I have had personal experience with the Nest wifi smoke detectors and so I am looking to raise funds to install these. Please consider making a donation so that we can improve the protection of our animals. Pets Alive is a no-kill animal rescue, located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, about 1 1/2 hours from New York City. Our mission is to improve the lives of companion animals everywhere by any means possible, including rescue, adoption, advocacy, collaboration, intervention and education.
