Pets Alive

Willie was adopted from a shelter 12 1/2 years ago as an 8 week old puppy. We were on a waiting list with 10 other people until our late Veterinarian told the shelter to give us every animal that we wanted. 

Willie lived an amazing life on Swinging Bridge Lake in Monticello, NY and has been taken care of by Pets Alive Dr. Joe. 

The Willie Fund is to help animals in need who are at the shelter waiting for a home adn to honor the work of our friend Dr Joe who's compassionate heart, caring for his patients and community inspires us all.

It is our hope that all animals are loved as much as we loved Willie and are placed in the arms of caring families.

Hi everyone, I am fortunate enough to be a Board Member for Pets Alive in Middletown, New York. We have a large property with old buildings in need of updates and upgrades to look after 100 dogs, 150+ cats, 5 horses, 3 pigs and one goat! I am looking to replace old damaged smoke detectors and add more to our property. We are not able to afford a networked fire detection system that would signal 911 in an emergency but I have had personal experience with the Nest wifi smoke detectors and so I am looking to raise funds to install these. Please consider making a donation so that we can improve the protection of our animals. Pets Alive is a no-kill animal rescue, located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, about 1 1/2 hours from New York City.
