The Abdul Aziz Foundation is fundraising to install a Solar Panel System at the Sirat-ul-Jannah Orphanage in Karachi, Pakistan which houses 120 orphan boys and girls; to help completely eliminate the high cost of electricity bills and allow these orphans to live and learn under a temperature controlled environment. When the city loses power for significant number of hours (sometimes days) the solar panels will generate enough electricity so the children won't have to undergo that hardship. Also the money this orphanage will save from high electricity bills can be utilized for providing these orphan kids with basic life necessities. This Solar Panel System will provide enough electricity for 20 plus years. This is a great opportunity to earn rewards in this life and the hereafter. Please donate generously to this worthy cause.
Sirat-ul-Jannah was founded by Mrs. Gufran Qureshi (Julie Marsh) on may 1990, a British lady who reverted to Islam and has been running 3 of these orphanages in Khanewaal, Murree and Karachi. This organization operates entirely on donations. More information can be found on their Facebook page (link below). An interview of Mrs. Gufran Qureshi by Sohail Waraich a GEO TV anchor can be watched on their website www.siratuljannah.org
