Hi everyone, I'll keep it short and sweet as I know your time is important and your attention span is about as short as mine! My name is Derek Evans. I am a former United States Marine, current business owner in the Dallas area, and active supporter of anything and everything that has to do with our great nations Veterans....
Today I am approaching you because quite simply I need your help accomplishing a VERY important mission that I have taken on for a friend, no check that, a brother rather, that I served with in the Marine Corps.
Let me briefly introduce my brother to you: Meet Lee Ingle- As you can see in the picture he is a husband to his beautiful wife, Yvonne, and a great father to his rediculously cute baby daughter Ava. Despite his silver hair, he is 30 years young and has been selflessly serving our country and now his community since he was 18 years old. He was as ferocious of a warrior a Marine commander could ask for as he fought courageously alongside his brothers on the battlefields of Ramadi and Fallujah, Iraq in 2004. He currently serves as one of Houston's finest in an elite tactical police unit where him and his partner are tasked as the take down/rescue unit for the majoity of his department's operations. EVERY DAY HE SUITS UP HE PUTS HIS LIFE ON THE LINE.
Unfortunately, and as many of us that have served in such capacities know, the gov./state/municipal departments that we work tirelessly for do not always have the budget to provide its officers with the finest gear.
It is my mission to ensure that when he suits up, he's doing it with the finest protective gear/body armor that money can buy. Here's how the money will be spent:

Recent events in Dallas, and elsewhere across the country have highlighted the deteriorating situation that exponentially increases the risk our officers face on a day to day basis.
Please guys, whether it be $10, $20, or $100 bucks or more, please join me in doing what we can to help ensure that we give Officer Lee Ingle every advantage possible so that he can safely return home to his girls each night or morning after a long days or nights work. Every little bit helps!
