Welcome back to another year! My family is so excited to hold our 8th Annual "If You Ain't Givin', You Ain't Livin'" event.

For those who are new here, my wife and I began this to host at least one family at our local children's hospital 8 years ago. In doing so, we receive their full Christmas wish list before Christmas, raise as much money as possible, and go shopping to check off everything on their list, for both the parents and children of the family!

Why? These families are going through the toughest times in their lives. Their priority, as it should be, is on the health of their children and family. The time to focus on Christmas gifts and providing the holiday joy just isn't there for a lot of families. That's where we wanted to come in, take the weight off of the parents, and provide help where needed.

When? We should get the wish list this week, but we want to get started as early as possible! Once we hit our goal, at least, as we've done every year and been able to up it, we will head out and shop for their wish list gifts!

"How can I help?" When I say every amount counts, I mean it. Any donations help so much. We have gotten a couple of dollars to hundreds of dollars in donations each year, and it all adds up to the greater good.
