Help Break the Cycle of Abuse

Just before midnight June 5, 2016, my spouse tried to kill me, by suffocation.  This isn’t the first time he has tried to kill me, but it is the last.

Without going into too much detail, I have been abused by this man, sexually, mentally, emotionally, verbally and physically for the last 8.5 years.

He’s in the military, and since this his recent attempt, I have had little support from outside services, and next to nothing from his command.

I have 5 children and both my boys are autistic. I have spent their entire life making sure they have everything they need. I have been a stay at home mother for all of my children since 2009.  I have goals and dreams, I am working diligently to achieve. I have enrolled back in college and plan on getting a degree as a LSW. Once I complete that I would like to go to law school. I would love to help other battered women, who are in my shoes.

I will have to leave post housing soon. I am struggling  to find a place to live, a good paying job and a good lawyer, who will have our needs met. I am currently receiving NO financial help from “him”.
