Not many things in this world compare with boating, especially for seniors and others who live in residential care. The freedom, the smells, the wide open spaces and so much more.
Therapeutic Lake Cruises Society (TLC)is here to provide a unique experience for our seniors and also individuals with disabilities. This opportunity to spend some time on the water, experiencing the wind and waves is a highlight of their day.
The Therapeutic Lake Cruises Society is a nonprofit society formed more than 10 years ago and operates a 10 passenger 24’ covered pontoon boat on Okanagan lake. Our Certified volunteer captains are a key to safety on the water
Unfortunately in the last years due to Covid, fires, heat dome and low-water, tours were reduced. However, we are back on the water this year with cruises beginning this June 2024!
With your donation you become a part of this legacy to keep us “afloat” ..all donations go directly to the operation of the boat. Donations pay for repairs, maintenance and for a new motor.
