Young Emmy Pontz has breast cancer

One of my best friends, Emmy Pontz, was diagnosed with breast cancer, just yesterday.  She is only 24 years old, and has already shown more strength than anyone I know, given the multitude of awful things life has thrown at her.  She is the kindest, most genuine, selfless, caring person I have ever met.  She recently started a non-profit - the Hope for Huruma Foundation - a charity she started for an orphanage in Africa that she visited over the summer.  Yes, she is one of those pure souls who is always helping others, whether they are family by blood or family by heart.  Please find it in your heart to help her the way she is always helping others - be it by donating money, prayer, or sharing some kindness on her facebook.  If you choose to donate, the money will go toward her medical bills.  Please help us support Emmy during this tough time.
