QED Attendance Fund

QED 2023 is only a couple of months away and we at Skeptics in the Pub Online are very excited! As well as being an amazing weekend of interesting talks from brilliant people, QED is a great opportunity to meet friends, old and new.

QED is a great big celebration of skepticism, but not everyone can afford to join in.

This year, Skeptics in the Pub Online are organising a QED Attendance Fund!

We are fundraising so that we can offer tickets and accommodation to skeptics who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend. SitPO will also donate £500 to the attendance fund.

The QED Attendance Fund is open to anyone on a low income, anyone receiving state benefits and students. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Applications will be open until 10th August. If more people apply than we can afford to help, names will be drawn out of a hat. Anyone who is offered tickets or tickets and accommodation will be informed via e-mail, the names of successful applicants will not be publicly announced.
