Hi, my name is Hector Hernandez and I am asking for help from everyone who is able to help my friend's family!

Recently, our friend John (Jose Perez) underwent a difficult patch in his health. This man was the best person who was there and supported everyone in their life. There was not one dull moment or anger in his body. He is God-fearing and a believer! Hardworking, loving, and funny.

Struggles we all deal with, but try dealing with diabetes and cancer, undergoing chemotherapy to hopefully get cured! This is something I'd never wish on anyone or can't understand what that feels like. The sad truth is he will only know what that is. Today, 01/31/26, at 5:30 pm, John was pronounced dead at the hospital after being watched carefully for a week after chemo was interrupted by his health conditions worsening. Now, adding on top of this, he had water in his lungs and body that doctors performed surgery on a day prior.

Now John leaves us and his small family of wife and son behind, which we can only be there for and pray for.

I promised John I would help raise him money to get him a better apartment, which he didn't have to walk upstairs for because of the stress it put on him. On top of him not being able to provide for his family anymore and falling behind on stacked bills. Life is unfair, life is cruel, but life is given and borrowed by our creator.

I pray we can help raise funds for his family so they can make themselves whole with one less thing to worry about!
