This is for the little 10 year old boy who stole every person's heart who ever met him. Our ray of light was diagnosed with a tumor on his brain and a 50/50 chance to survive the surgery. Ben made it through the surgery by the grace of God and was released to go home. While recovering, he developed fluid on his brain and landed himself back to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. After successfully relieving the fluid from his brain he was released to come home. When he got up he collapsed. Ben had a blood clot in his leg that traveled to his heart. He has been on life support since then.
We are asking for some help for his family. His parents, Stacy and Brian, have been by his side this whole time while their family is caring for Ben’s twin brothers Brian and Matthew. Ben remains in the ICU and is a fighter. With the help from all of us we can hopefully give Ben’s mom and dad some mental stability to continue to stay by his bedside and take the worry off of work. The Marek’s have been such a staple in this community and always extended themselves to help people in need. It’s time for all of us to give back if you can. #benstrong #marekstrong
