Barry always enjoyed and spoke about his amazing trips out west with his family. He looked forward to the day that he would be able to share this experience with his wife, Hayley, and son, Wesley after his transplant.

Barry spoke of the amazing skies, mountain ranges, and national parks that the west has to offer. He often told Hayley, "if I take you out there, I'm worried you'll never want to come back!". When they would go on family hiking trips, Barry would tell Wesley "train up and get ready for some real hiking out west one day."

Hayley wants to carry out this dream of Barry's by taking Wesley to the places he spoke so fondly of and even the ones he didn't get to make to it...Washington, Oregon, and Maine, the only 3 states he didn't get to visit!
